KONAN Amani Dieudonné

I am a statistician and data scientist from Côte d'Ivoire. I trained at ENSEA in Abidjan, where I qualified as a Statistics and Information Systems Engineer in 2012, and I hold a Master's in Statistics and Econometrics from Université Toulouse I Capitole (2017).

Since September 2023 I have been Manager, Data Scientist / Architect at the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in Cairo. I work on the bank's Databricks lakehouse, data quality and master data, the pipelines that bring core banking and treasury data into the warehouse, and generative AI tools for internal use. From 2017 to 2023 I was Statistician and Econometrician at the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) in Abidjan, where I built forecasting models and the statistical database behind its market reports.

Before and alongside those roles, I managed data and monitoring and evaluation work for PAC-CI, ICRAF, FHI360, Barry-Callebaut and UNHCR in Abidjan, ran a training for ICRISAT in Mali, and took remote assignments for IOM, UNIDIR and ITU.

I also hold certificates from MIT, Johns Hopkins University and the Corporate Finance Institute. In June 2026 I submitted my Doctor of Business Administration thesis, Renting Intelligence, at the IIBM Institute of Business Management. It looks at how AI sourcing choices shape performance in international development.
